I am shocked that we are 2 months away from celebrating this little lovelies first birthday.  I need to get to planning!!

It's been a busy month for this little sweetie!  She has become quick and efficient at crawling!  Legs and arms are now moving together like a well oiled machine.  She is also cruising!  Once she is standing up and holding on to the couch, she shuffles along.  She also can move into a standing position from the potty, although I wish she wouldn't!

We had a great sleeping routine...until we went to NYC.  More on the trip in another blog, but we are back to waking up 2-3 times a night.  Errrrr.  The only good thing about her waking up is she eats pretty quick, then goes down without a sound.  My brain feels like scrambled eggs after being woken up at 11pm, 2pm and 5am, but I refuse to complain about spending time with my baby.

Lila has yet to meet food she doesn't like.  We've given her a little of everything at this point, fruits, vegetables, meats, and dairy.  She seems to like cottage cheese a lot, but doesn't really show a dislike for any thing.  She loves to drink water!  Once she is put in her booster seat, we've learned to have her food ready or we will hear about it...loudly!

Her 2 bottom teeth have finally popped through!  Her little gums got so red and swollen, but she didn't act like it bothered her too bad.  Her little hair is getting longer and longer.  Somedays it looks dark brown and other days it looks light brown.  Her eyes vary from gray, greenish, and hazel, depending on the day. The older she gets the more similarities I am seeing between her and Paisley.

She's a LOUD baby!  When she's happy she shrieks and squeals, when she's mad she lets out an ear spitting scream, when she's eating she makes happy baby noises, during the night she sighs and coos, there is always noises coming from her.  Most of the time it is so sweet, but sometimes it causes us to reach for the Advil!  She also has quite the temper!  If she can't reach a toy or if her brother holds her feet while she is trying to crawl, she doesn't hesitate to let out a stream of baby babble that I am sure aren't terms of endearment.

We continue to work on potty training and she understands what she is supposed to do when she is on her potty.  She also (to my surprise) can understand and react to commands.  I asked her where her Dolly was and she crawled to her doll and held it up.  I've also told her to go play in Paisley's room and she crawled down the hall and into his room!

She's decent about riding in the car unless she's tired.  Then she'll let out a few yells before giving in to sleep.  No matter how long she sleeps, as soon as we get home and I remove her carseat from the car she wakes up.

She loves playing and continues to show a gentle loving nature towards her dolls.  She snuggles them up and will sometimes lay her head on them.  It is so sweet to watch.

She's growing quicker then I'd like, but I am incredibly grateful to watch this healthy baby girl reach milestones and grow independent.  I love her more each and everyday and don't let a moment pass without telling her so.
